Welcome to the Cut Above Beef Club! This is a 4-H club based out of Spartanburg County, South Carolina. We focus on guiding youth members through their 4-H Beef Projects. Not only do we focus on agriculture and the beef industry, but also leadership, public speaking, teamwork, and many other life skills. We hope keep our 4-H members updated, keep the residents of our county informed, and provide information to those interested in joining or supporting our club.

About Us

The Spartanburg County Cut Above Beef Club was established in 2006. The Cut Above Beef Club currently has about 10 active youth members who participate in meetings, shows, and other events throughout the year. We raise beef cattle from an assortment of many different breeds including Angus, Chianina, Maine Anjou, Mainetainer, Simmental, and Percent Simmental. We travel to local and state shows. Some of our members compete on regional and national levels. Our local shows are concentrated in the fall months, August- October. Regional and National shows are usually held mid-summer or winter. Our club holds meetings throughout the year at the Cross Anchor Fire Department. We also take a few trips each year to different companies in the agriculture industry. If you are interested in attending a meeting or show, please contact us for more details concerning the date, time, and location. We would love for you to join us!
